is she an illusion?
im not sure what I see,
a soul touched by pain
and still she shines with
strength & individuality.
her eyes hold me,they’re captivating.
so deep,
they draw me into new places-a world of the unknown,
mesmerizing-like the moonlight,
full of life,they glow.
She has sunlight and fire
running thru her veins.
when I touch her
i can feel the heat of those flames.
her voice is musical & renewing,
like the first rays of light
that greet tired eyes in the dawn
after the darkest night.
Like the wind,its unclear what direction she’ll go in,
she can be like a soft spring breeze,or turn in to a hurricane of emotion..
an adventurous free spirit,mystery surrounds her.
sensitive perception,within her ,strength, engraved so deep-
protective of the secrets she chooses to keep.
Still,she rises from life’s ruins,
time & time again.
this rebel on the run,shes always on my mind,to those out cast,
she’s an accepting friend they never dreamed theyd find.
the ghosts of yesterday may haunt her
but she’s one they cant control,
she’ll rise above the lost and broken places of life,& find freedom from their hold.
under neon lights,i see her move-so graceful,
enchanting and bold,
she’ll accomplish whatever she desires in life, she has forever touched my soul
